I just want to call everyone and tell them. But this is the best way to get it out to everyone at the same time so you know what is going on. I had another doctor's appt this morning. They did the ultrasound first and that took a lot longer than normal because they had to measure all the bigger follicles and count how many smaller ones I had. I had a ton of follicles. She kept pressing on my ovaries and so after that I was tired. After I got my blood drawn, the IVF nurse coordinator told me the good news that I was ready for the egg retrieval!! Thank goodness. She said I needed to rest when I don't feel good (light-headed, dizzy, nauseated) and drink tons of fluids. The nurse said I would feel better in the morning when my ovaries had rested all night and worse in the afternoon/evening. She told me I needed to recline and not exercise as this would bounce around my ovaries and would not make me feel good.The egg retrieval surgery is scheduled for Thursday at 8:00 am. Todd and I have to get there by 6:30 am. The embryo transfer would occur on Sunday am. Please continue praying for us - we hope to see a beautiful baby from this.
