Yesterday the IVF nurse coordinator called and let me know that my blood tested fine - my estrogen was just a little too low so they prescribed an estrogen patch. Good news is I am cleared to do the Repronex (in the am) and Gonal-F (in the evening) injections beginning this Saturday. These are to help my ovaries produce multiple eggs. :)I will visit the doctor 4 times next week - they will draw blood and do ultrasounds to help determine whether my medications need to be adjusted for the optimal amount and quality of eggs. Todd will visit the doctor with me on Tuesday because that is when he will have his blood drawn for infectious disease screening - I already had that done. If my ovaries respond well after an average of 7-11 days following Saturday, I will be scheduled for egg retrieval and then a few days after this for embryo transfer.Please keep praying for us!
